ST ANDREWS HALLWAY
This hallway, vestibule and staircase in a Victorian semi in Bristol is something I consulted on around the strange times of Covid 19 lockdowns in 2020- 2023. I touched on various areas of the house to assist in pulling together a more cohesive and stylish finish. Like a lot of projects that are done over time and are someone's family home, it's hard to get those final photos. So please forgive these phone snaps. My clients had had their kitchen redone not long before, designed by a local company, in a strong, vibrant style and I helped to pull together some of the same vibes in other areas of the house.

The client actualised a lot of my ideas. I provided images, digital design boards, product suggestions, wallpaper and paint samples.  The hallway was repainted including black doors which gave some classic drama. The walls were painted a simple pale taupe but the top ceiling was painted a soft aqua which mimicked the skylight they have up there on a sunny day and picked up on the blue green colour of the kitchen and large painting of an Asian woman they had. The mid level hall had a Fornasetti cloud wallpaper applied and we did a stair runner in black and white with green cotton  binding.

Both of these photos are details from the playroom. I didn't take before pictures, but it was a dirty off white with a shelf and no soft seating before. I sourced various options for seating, rug, curtains, lights and suggested the paint colours and design of the walls and ceiling
