Teddies & toys
A gift for a niece turned into a little phase of making little teddies for little people.
Both as gifts and a few commissions for friends. At about 20cm tall, they're quite dinky and most of them are jointed in some way.
They have a pleasing weight using beach pebbles for older children and plastic teddy beading for younger ones and babies

Monkey, made for a newborn,
had strong electromagnets in his hands and tail

I find fleece is a better fabric choice for newborns as it is more easily washed
