About Me
My journey into interior design I began my design career in London, working with showflats and residential schemes for landlords — a role that taught me precision, project management, technical rigour, and how to make spaces sing within practical constraints. In 2011 I took the leap into self-employment in Salisbury, a move that allowed me to focus on bespoke projects for private homeowners. This shift better suited my creative instincts and my desire to help people shape homes that truly reflect how they want to live. I've been based in Bristol since 2017 |
Why interior design matters to me
For over 20 years I’ve relished the balance between the practical and the poetic in interiors. I’m drawn to projects where thoughtful design makes everyday life more joyful, functional, and beautiful. Whether it’s optimising an awkward space or re-imagining a whole home, I approach every brief with calm curiosity, clarity and a hands-on mindset. I'm most engaged by timeless, layered, eclectic and artistic interiors with a mix of old and new and a sense of soul.
How I work
I’m both creative and technically grounded. I produce all required digital design boards and SketchUp plans and collaborate closely with builders, electricians, plumbers and architects so that the design intent is faithfully realised on site. With a deep knowledge of furniture, textiles and finishes, I provide samples and work with trusted UK suppliers to bring each scheme together coherently. I also enjoy taking on commissions for bespoke artwork, or sourcing vintage items, adding a personal layer to interiors.
I believe that great design isn’t about imposing a signature style, but about listening — and then designing spaces that feel authentic and practical, as well as beautiful. It’s why clients often tell me they feel calmer, more confident, and genuinely understood when we work together.
Where I work
I’m based in Bristol and work primarily with homeowners across Bristol, Bath and the South West, though I also collaborate with developers and architects on a range of residential projects around the UK. I like to begin each project with an in-person conversation so we can explore ideas properly and build a productive working relationship.
