A lovely 3 bedroom Edwardian terraced house in Bristol, that had been sadly neglected, apart from a relatively new kitchen. My parents bought this as a retirement investment and worked hard to completely refurbish and redecorate and restore the lovely original features. They kindly let me dictate the Interior Design, finishes and colour scheme and re-design of the bathroom. This project needed to be fairly neutral and homely, to attract tenants, but be done on a budget. Careful sourcing and up-cycling of 2nd hand furniture, mixed in with the right new piece or two and some lovely art and textiles makes this finish look Bohemian Luxe with a little Scandinavian flavour. It is certainly a lovely place to live!

The space under the stairs was open, so we designed and built an open larder and included a side door for a utility cupboard. The kitchen units, tiles and flooring were already OK, so were not changed. The white paint, utensil rail, plate rack and furniture were our additions here

The garden was stripped and replanted, a shed built and new flagstones laid
