This lovely Edwardian terraced house in South Bristol had been recently bought by my clients. The spaces were great, but the kitchen and utility were, dated, dark and not quite fit for purpose. Brought on board by the development company, Integrate Design and Build, I then worked directly for the clients, and liaised with them to redesign this space in a comfortable, contemporary style. We commissioned Juniper Kitchens to build the kitchen and utility cabinetry as per my designs and drawings, which worked out beautifully. The way the slender ply fit to the shelves was based on work I had seen Juniper achieve previously. The addition of 2 large sliding doors and a skylight hugely improved the spaces and the bespoke joinery created a lot of sleek, usable storage. The kitchen carcasses were built from ply and oak veneered ply and the doors were painted MDF. The countertop is in Mirostone and the floors are original old pine boards.
